On July 20 and August 9 & 14, 2017, I walk the Eichgraben, which is the closest creek to Villa Waldberta, where I’m, then, one of the artists in residence. I later produce the photos and sound I record into a series of videos.

Eichgraben_20170720 features the source of the creek, sphagnum patches and pine forest.

Eichgraben_20170809 features sphagnum, forest, open field, a hand-dug canal, and ends at a koi-populated pond.

Eichgraben_20170814 features quite a lot of blur and squiggly lines of light.

I capture the material for these videos whilst artist in residence at Villa Waldberta, Feldafing, Germany. The residency is sponsored by the City of Munich, and for it I am supported by the Australian Government, through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.
