Anna Viola Hallberg approaches space as a ritualized act of presence, both in fieldwork and exhibition contexts. Rooted in research-based, lens and embodied practices, her work explores interdependence, co-becoming and subtle forms of resistance. Through video-centred installations, she reflects on coexistence and shared society. Her work has been presented nationally and internationally. Her walking is often in the line of social choreography where her practice, as an artist/curator visualizes or enacts possible futures relating to artistic research on care, proximity, and responsibility.  Hallberg prefers walks leading up to or along water.
