Erin Bondo grew up in rural Ontario, Canada on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Anishinabek and now lives in Scotland. She holds degrees in English, Classics and Religion and used to spend a lot of time studying secrecy narratives in ancient literature – now she just writes them.

She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and placed or listed in a number of competitions, including the Bridport Prize, the Bath Flash Fiction Award, and the Welkin Writing Prize.
