Genevieve Rudd is a Community Artist and qualified Wild Beach Leader, based in Gt Yarmouth, developing creative projects that encourage a closer look with places and people around us, including environmental arts, working outdoors, walking and nurturing nature-connection through creativity. Genevieve is adapting her practice in response to her Acquired Brain Injury in 2023 which caused her to lose and relearn her ability to walk and other injury to her left side ( having lost sight and touch sensation/movement on the left side of her body. Genevieve spent 7 months in hospitals undergoing neurosurgeries and rehabilitation, then in 2025, she began tentatively reimagining her community arts career and practice around her new limitations. With support, this has seen her lead creative nature walks and activities with disabled cohorts from her power chair and host a micro exhibition in a beach hut connecting her neuro-vascular injury with fragile coastlines.
