He works at the intersection of walking, listening, cultural heritage, and creative tourism. With a background in archaeology and ancient and contemporary arts, his practice focuses on developing community-centered, culturally meaningful experiences along hiking trails and rural landscapes, with particular attention to slow travel, sustainability, and responsible engagement with place.
He has worked as a project coordinator on initiatives exploring different ways of valuing and reactivating cultural heritage along long-distance walking routes. These projects have included performative arts and soundscape interventions on archaeological sites; a Cabinet of Local Wonders project that traced tangible and intangible local heritage in rural areas of Germany and Turkey through a moving exhibition made up of objects and stories shared by local villagers; and Following Evliya Çelebi’s Hoofprints, a visual documentation project mapping cultural traditions, everyday practices, and architecture in places visited by the 17th-century Ottoman traveller Evliya Çelebi.
Alongside this work, he co-hosts a podcast focused on hiking, walking, and trails, exploring the cultural, social, and emotional layers of moving through landscapes on foot. He is also the host of the CreativeMornings Antalya chapter, where he helps cultivate an open, curious creative community through monthly talks and gatherings.
Across his projects, he is particularly interested in walking as a method for storytelling, listening, and knowledge-sharing, supporting cultural preservation, rural development, and deeper connections between people and the places they pass through.
