Ken Hughes Parry

Dr. Ken Hughes-Parry is currently a lecturer working in the School of Art at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. His research explores the intersection between Zen, photography, and walking. Alongside teaching and his research, Ken also has a walking-based photography art practice and has undertaken a plethora of walks throughout Australia, as well as in Asia and Europe. He is a keen advocate of barefoot walking.

Ken's work has been published and exhibited in Australia and Europe, and has experience working as an interior/lifestyle/portrait photographer for various publications. He was also a co-founder of Ruffian Gallery in Melbourne, Australia - an Artist Run Initiative that focused on giving a platform to up-and-coming artists to develop their practices and show their work.
