Leslie Kern is an urban scholar with expertise in gender, housing, environmental justice, and gentrification. She’s the author of three books about cities, including the best-selling Feminist City, as well as a new book about surviving within and improving academic institutions. Her work engages city builders, policymakers, and urban citizens in transforming cities into more just, equitable, and sustainable places.
