I'm a 50 year old woman living in Manchester, UK. I live with my dog and two cats. I'm about to get a puppy! Walking has been part of my life forever. I walk as much as I can, the best thing about Lockdown was all the walking- and hardly having to use my car. I'm now permanently working from home, so will continue the walking well after lockdown has finished. Walking is for me a tool for thinking, for switching off from procedural thought to a more meditative way of thinking. It helps calm my mind.
I work as a psychodynamic psychotherapist- psychoanalysis is another of my passions. The unique practice of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches is based on an understanding of the unconscious and symbolic forms of thinking and communicating.
I also have lots of creative pursuits- I make felt pictures and objects, I draw, I write, I crochet, I garden.
