Greg Cooper is a cognitive neuroscientist and creative technologist based in Lewes, UK. His work sits between science, sound and interactive media, using code to make hidden structures in data and place perceptible and playable. He created Earthsounds, a browser-based instrument that translates terrain, weather, geology and skylines into sound and music. He is a postdoctoral researcher at UCL’s Centre for Consciousness Research, where he currently runs a pre-clinical study investigating neural and behavioural responses to the short acting psychedelic drug, DMT - and how it can be used to help reduce alcohol consumption.
