Reg Carremans is a Brussels-based visual artist whose work explores the intersections of self and environment across diverse media. His practice investigates humans as geographical beings—through walking, landscape, place, territory, and cartography—while reflecting on the artist and artistic processes, including identity, basic actions, and economy. Until 2015, Carremans actively created and exhibited work, using artistic transformation processes and products as tools for sensemaking and resilience-building, though he continues to engage with art in reflective and experimental ways. His projects encourage critical introspection, (self-)awareness, and contemplative thought, inviting audiences to consider the dynamic relationships between self, space, and practice.
