UK-based Art Walk Projects (Edinburgh), is a small artist-led organisation situated on the coastline and outskirt area of the city centre, producing public realm projects involving placemaking and walking that fuse the role of place with ideas of community, and contemporary culture. We engage audiences often with lost or under-visited spaces, exploring new terrains that have social, local and wider relevance, with the pairing of place being a current area of exploration. We host an annual festival each September, Art Walk Porty, with a range of other projects throughout the year.
