You have stumbled upon Virtual Rambling. Basically I take a chilled out walk in a video game, exploring the surroundings, taking in sights, and talking about what I take away from the virtual world I’m in (but make those optional listening for those who want the walk without the talk).
When I do these walks, I’m going to be walking for real on a ministepper, keeping pace with my virtual avatar. The idea is that I get closer to experiencing the world as the character would, and what it would be like to walk in these worlds without an infinite pool of energy.
I’m going to be covering a variety of games, from well-known titles to indies, mostly in first person.
I’m currently shooting for one walk per week. The video length will vary depending on the game.
