Displacing Territories: Project for the Brazil/Uruguay Border is a journey as a solitary traveler that the artist undertook at the end of April through the border zone of the pampas, specifically from Barra do Quaraí to Pelotas.
Walk the Line
Lauren Brincat's Walk the Line explores borders, territory, and disappearance through walking. Filmed at Cape Leeuwin, Australia, the video contrasts geological formations, dunes, and ocean, invoking both physical and metaphorical boundaries in a haunting, solitary performance.
Water connections Prespa
We invite you to explore Prespa, a national park and lake at the border of Greece, Albania and North Macedonia, and a venue of art practice for almost two decades. Art and science, biology and ecology meet in an evening with two panels about Prespa, water and arts, in a dialogue with artists, researchers, scientists and ecologists, a confluence of the Prespa lake with Oika in the US, the El Hondo Wetland in Spain, the wet meadows of Somerset Levels and the waters of Yarun (Bribie Island) in Australia.

• UK Border Walk
UK Border Walk (2011) is a performative 77km walk along the Scottish–English border by Rocca Gutteridge and Claudia Zeiske, responding to the UK’s Tier 5 visa. Through walking and public debate, it highlighted how migration policy restricts artistic exchange and mobility.
Tour de fence
Tour de Fence explores overcoming physical barriers, from wire netting to high-security systems, offering practical knowledge for unimpeded movement. It critiques fences as metaphors for private property, inclusion/exclusion, and control, highlighting the shift toward total control over public and private spaces.
Roman Runner: Limes Germanicus I
In Roman Runner: Limes Germanicus I, Dr. Tim Brennan traced the Dutch edge of the Roman Empire on foot, running 90 miles from the North Sea to the German border in a 19-hour endurance performance that carried him across windswept coasts, historic towns, and river valleys, advancing his long-term art project.

WALKING: THE CYPRUS EXPERIENCE (on Line Seminar/HUB)
Organized by Cut Contemporary Fine Arts Lab and coordinated by Dr. Gabriel Koureas, the International Hub explores the spatial and sensorial impacts of Cyprus’s divided borderlands through walking as an artistic and performative practice. The project investigates how physical and psychic borders, memory, and trauma are embedded in the urban fabric, using embodied encounters with the landscape to understand the interplay of war, politics, and social conditions in Cyprus.

To mark International Refugee Day, a walk from Glasgow City Centre to the Dungavel House Immigration Removal Centre in Lanarkshire. Arranged by Claudia Zeiske and artist Iman Tajik this 22 mile meditative path exploress the notion of borders as liminal spaces where freedom of movement conflicts with geopolitical boundaries.
