Divisor (1968) by Lygia Pape is a participatory artwork: a 30 m² sheet with holes for collective play, fostering improvisation, choreography, and shared experience. It challenges hierarchy, blends public/private space, and engages urban and political contexts.

Created in response to the militarization of public space during the 2016 RNC, this installation draws on feminist histories and solidarity networks, merging Angela Davis Fegan’s prints with collective female-led actions and layered video archives.

What happens when we stop looking at the city and start listening to it?

2020: The Walk is a project by artist and activist Marta Moreno Muñoz, walking from Granada to Helsinki to help spread the word about Extinction Rebellion, a global environmental movement whose stated aim is to use non-violent civil disobedience to compel governments to take action to avoid triggering tipping points in the climate system, biodiversity loss, and the risk of social and ecological collapse.

The post describes "Cada caminho é um poema (Each path is a poem)," an audioguided walk featuring poetic interventions by the Collective Group Transverso in the Southern Commercial Sector. Founded in 2011, the group engages in urban art and poetry through various techniques including stencils, projections, and performances in public spaces.

This collaborative walking art project features a live multi-channel sound and movement installation based on simultaneous remote walks across global cities, translating these into a layered performance space in Athens. Drawing on soundscape storytelling, movement, and historical-philosophical references, it explores urban memory and social inclusion through collective dérives and sonic localization aligned with the tradition of Plato’s Academy.

Tapping the Lines is an interactive walking practice where participants select a single urban street, attach thumb tacks to their shoes, and walk its full length, using the sounds they create to engage with and enhance the acoustic environment. This method transforms walking into a collaborative sonic performance, emphasizing the walker's active role in shaping the urban soundscape through attentive listening and intentional movement.
