Many peregrinations

Many peregrinations through the same small space accompanied by drawings, photographs and insights. Taking three months of daily walks, the inspiration has been the poetic nature of a semi-wild patch of land.

Trans-Missions and Resonant Encounters: composing the non-human body

Jussi Parikka’s *Insect Media* conceptualizes media as embodied, non-human forms that converge natural and constructed worlds through resonant milieus rather than binary oppositions. Building on this, an audio walk explores inhabiting these resonant spaces using psychoacoustic techniques to blur boundaries between music, field recordings, and sound art, challenging traditional modes of perception and bodily experience.

Walking at an ant’s pace

David Merleau created an interactive storytelling audio walking app, offering a day-in-the-life experience of various types of ants. During walks, users hear stories that adapt to their environment, creating an innovative "pace-based" interactive experience. This project allowed Merleau to connect with his peers and find purpose during COVID lockdowns.

shoggle, worple

Since the 1500s, shoggle has been a word for various sorts of shaking. No wonder it became a word for unsteady walking in the 1800s. Zombies and toddlers are big shogglers. Another term sometimes applied to such precarious ambling is warpling. Credits to Mark Peters.
