Who is walking in the dark?

We are delighted to announce the Long listed entries in our annual Write About Walking writing competition that this year, had a theme of “Walking In The Dark” in support of the global action “Women walking, the City, at Night“. This is the fifth year in which we have run a Write About Walking poetry

Walking A/way – longlist announced

Asked to write concisely about walking away or walking a way, we had more than 60 poems and flash stories submitted to our 2023 Write about Walking writing competition from which our four volunteer judges, Tony Horitz and Ralph Hoyte (for poetry) and Cheryl Markosky and S A Greene (for prose) have selected a long list of 21 pieces.
