Stephen Long’s 1,600-foot sculpture blends with the landscape, its red, yellow, and blue stripes shifting with natural light. Optical mixing and changing hues make movement and aerial perspectives essential to experiencing the work fully.

Mirror Labyrinth – NYC is a freestanding mirrored installation with varying-height lamellae forming interconnected curves. Reflecting viewers, surroundings, and Manhattan’s skyline, it creates a disorienting, labyrinth-like experience linking Brooklyn Bridge Park to the cityscape.

Robert Morris’s Untitled Earthwork (Johnson Pit #30) (1979) reshaped an abandoned gravel pit into a terraced amphitheater, reclaiming the land as public art. Today, the site also serves as a space for walking practice and outdoor movement activities.

Walter De Maria’s 1969 Las Vegas Piece – mile-long bulldozer lines forming a square in the desert – was hard to find even then and is now barely visible. The work’s elusiveness was central to the experience, emphasizing remoteness and chance.

For Mile Long Drawing, De Maria drew two parallel chalk lines a mile long in the Mojave Desert, bringing Minimalism outdoors.
