Covert – Triarchy Press
The algorithmic infiltration threatens that profoundly personal nexus where our hidden hopes and desires tentatively emerge from our unconscious mind. Covert is about protecting and developing this process. It offers — through its ‘movement meditations’ — a way for the emerging self to unfurl in a sheltered way, seeping into spaces of hidden potential throughout our
Walk 58
Upper Coulee walk, Lethbridge, ABWalking and talking make a good pair. This is one of those times in my life (there have been others) where almost all the social contact I have is through going for walks with people. The walks, which are always important, become even more important when otherwise I spend entire days sitting in my house alone. Pandemic walks are a big deal. I'm sure there will be dissertations written about it. A very simple activity, but it's a way to connect with nature and the [...]

No matter how our lives are limited in other ways these strange days, people seem to be openly grateful for the simple freedom of walking outdoors. These are the things we need right now - movement, fresh air, direct c [...]

However, it’s not an easy read, particularly if, like me, you’ve never read A Thousand Plateaux, know little about assemblage […]
