The Marŝarto24 winners have arrived
We've come to the conclusion of the second instalment of the Marŝarto Awards, complementing our existing Sound Walk September Awards. Where the SWS Awards focus on sound walks, the Marŝarto Awards recognise walking art, excluding sound walks, produced in the previous year.

• +6 30 Days of Walking: Sound Walk September 2020
30 Days of Walking is a global collaborative sound walk project inviting participants to record and upload audio from walks taken during designated time slots in September. The collected recordings will form a continuous soundscape representing diverse locations and experiences worldwide.
• Walking as a Question, crossing walking, writing and listening
Some years ago Kristine Samson und Sanne Krogh Grogh proposed the Audio Paper bringing together audio, performance and text in a new and hybrid format. This concept was extended into a new form of audio walk, during the Walking Arts Encounters / Conference in Prespa. Writers of these audio papers are invited to talk at this Walk Listen Café.

Slovenian dramaturge, publicist and producer Jasmina Založnik will engage in a conversation about the performativity of walking in the context of art. More precisely, she is interested in a sound walk as a form that evades spectacularity of art products and as a form of slowing down.

The winners of SWS24
This is the second year that the winner and honourable mention for the Sound Walk September Awards walk away with cash. Compared to last year, we were able to double the prize money, to 500 euros for the winner, and 200 euros for the honourable mention. Who walks away with the prizes?
