September: Sound Walking Experiments in Haecceity and Allography
In September 2020, a series of soundwalking experiments will explore the tension between immediate, site-specific experience (haecceity) and mediated or recorded representations (allography) through DIY devices that capture and transform walkers' sounds and biophysical data. These experiments, conducted across Tyneside, East Anglia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France, aim to generate a multimedia corpus culminating in a streamed improvised radio performance and documented via a dedicated website.
