‘A Woman’s Voice’ is a mosaic of sounds, conversations, and music about the experiences and lives of fifteen women from 19-91 years who live in the South of Amsterdam. It's a feminist audiowalk and a portrait of a neighborhood through women's eyes.

A 25-minute sound walk through Wilhelminapark, a public park in the city of Breda, the Netherlands, where language, voice and landscape interweave, inviting the body to become a sensor for perception, movement and time.

Liesje vd Berk invites residents to explore their surroundings in a unique way: by walking and drawing with all their senses. At the end of each walk, participants share one of their drawings in an exhibition, creating a new map of Amsterdam North.

I made this sound piece in early 2025 in response to the transformative learnings I experienced after undertaking an 8-day walk in 2024.

Avian Humanoids, a production by composer, producer, and performer Evelien van den Broek, is a soundwalk that transports you to the world of mythological creatures, uncanny sounds, and musical fantasies. You walk from tree to tree, to five unique trees in Oosterpark, Amsterdam (NL). As soon as you stand beneath them, the tree comes to life, and you hear the rustling of leaves and the fluttering of wings. This isn’t just any park; these aren’t just any trees. Here live the Avian Humanoids. Part human, part bird. In their tree, they begin to sing. As they sit above you and fly around you, you listen to their song.

A soundwalk through the nature reserve the Onlanden in the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands

Unwary pedestrians, tram passengers, and motorists look on in surprise when they see a spectacle rolling through the center of Amsterdam. In the “March through Amsterdam” that took place on Friday, December 6, 1963, but the march did not have a demonstrative character; it is nothing more than a formation of six gentlemen who are apparently deliberately following a route.

"Sins Beneath the Equator" is a project which deconstructs myths deeply rooted in the Pernambuco and Brazilian imagination, related to the Dutch occupation of the northeast of Brazil, in the 17th century.

SubstanzWalk is a geo-located audio walk located in the dunes of Westduinpark, Den Haag, inspired by the essay "Substanzraum, A new approach to global space." The approximately 45-minute walk combines synthetic and environmental sounds with narrated text fragments to explore a new concept of space.
