This paper explores Bath (UK) and Guimarães (Portugal) as UNESCO World Heritage Cities shaped by ancient mineral waters, using cross-disciplinary analysis of geology, archaeology, and history. Through walking the riverbank from Bath to Saltford, the study connects thermal waters, local deities, and embodied sensory experience to propose a nuanced, embodied approach to engaging with cultural heritage.
