Festival Proposals by Peter Liversidge consists of 103 hand-typed suggestions sent to Ingleby Gallery during the Edinburgh Festival. Ranging from fantastical to feasible, some were realized as artworks and performances, while others exist solely as ideas. Dog Walking was one of these Festival Proposals.

Journey Lines is a discussion betwen Anthropologist Tim Ingold and artist Claudia Zeiske reflecting on her Slow Coast 500 walk along the entire 700 miles long North Sea coast of Scotland. It reflects on making or breaking of places through tourism.

Walking Like a Tortoise
Walking Like a Tortoise started with collective walking around the edge of Edinburgh to celebrate the Festival of Terminalia. It was followed by more walks, creative responses and art-making, much questioning, conversation & radical hospitality.

Festival Soundings of Edinburgh
Festival Soundings of Edinburgh is a free soundwalk featuring residents' reflections on the city’s festivals, available to stream via the SonicMaps player. The 5.5-6 km route starts at the Storytelling Centre and ends at Waverley Station, lasting approximately 75 minutes and encouraging engagement with Edinburgh’s urban parks and environment.

An eighteen channel sonic ethnographic installation consisting of binaural-recorded walking interviews about everyday music with queer individuals throughout their daily walking and traveling routines in their neighborhoods.
Paving the way: an exploration of socially engaged female walking practices through sonic art
Originally created to accompany a research thesis, the audio tapestry presents opportunity to reflect on the role of sonic arts within participatory walking practices, exploring connection between two female walkers, and the space they move through.
