This year, we are exploring Uncharted Territory: an unfamiliar area or situation, especially one that has or seems to have no maps or guidelines. • Harleigh Fungalford Castle: an audio guide to an imagined heritage ruin
This sound walk through an imaginary castle can be performed at any 'heritage' site. The guide challenges how visitors experience the prompts of historical interpretation by adding layers of imagined history that are mysterious and arbitrary. The style imitates conventional interpretive audio guides, before revealing a narrative that is non-didactic, destabilizing, weird and comical. I made space for class commentary and for including the more-than-human. This audio was mostly improvised while walking and slightly refined afterwards. It was then recorded at five different sites, including two Norman ruined castles, one in England and one in Wales and a Neolithic burial chamber. You may begin this walk anywhere. It is intended to take 25-45 minutes.
The (Future) Wales Coast Path
A year of shared walks across future intertidal space in Wales and India, led by artist Alison Neighbour, inviting participants to consider the impermanence of land that we take for granted, and opening up local and global conversations.

Hundreds of thousands of miles of paths reach into, and connect, communities across England and Wales, however, there are several thousand that have been lost or barricaded over the years. Walking artists and activist, Jack Cornish has dedicated the last five years of his life to walking these forgotten routes.

A new opera set in motion by a walking audience in the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia). Heard via headphones, it relays a modern myth set around Lyn Idwal, the lake at the bottom of a glacial valley.
