Locative Media Supercluster is a Belgium-based nonprofit dedicated to collaborative learning through locative media, blending education, ecological awareness, and creative exploration. By working with ecologists, artists, scholars, Indigenous groups, and local communities, Supercluster fosters horizontal learning and more-than-human relationality, using embodied mapping, sensory engagement, and outdoor learning to connect people with their environments. Its main tools are collaborative online mapping and locative storytelling, developed through its own software platform CGeomap, which enables participants worldwide to co-create interactive maps enriched with ecological, cultural, and personal narratives. Building on this methodology, Supercluster launched the Earth Art Revolution (EAR), a global artistic research project capturing sound, image, and stories of human and more-than-human encounters. EAR generates a living archive of biodiversity and interspecies connection through immersive media, AR, and transmedia art, materialized as an online map, webapp, and nomadic installations—an interactive, planetary campfire for Earth stories. Together, Supercluster, EAR, and CGeomap align creativity, critical thinking, and ecological intelligence with a commitment to cultural and planetary transformation.
