Born in Cheshire (where my only memory is of squelching through mud in red Wellington boots), I now live in a tiny Victorian artisan’s cottage in London, where I am a printmaker, ceramicist, photographer, community gardener and writer of haikus.
My starting point is noticing a twist of shadow or a ripple of water; pressing the veins of a leaf into clay; or chasing a drift of memory.
Many of my prints are photopolymer etchings, but I am increasingly experimenting with ink transfer, drypoint, painting and collage – including even some colour.
