In summer 2024, Bethan Prosser facilitated a Participatory Listening Research workshop with community researchers from the Who Owns Brighton? project, Brighton & Hove Community Land Trust. She shared her toolbox to help explore the redevelopment site, Circus Street in Brighton. This video shares some the experiences and materials from the workshop.
The workshop included a Deep Listening exercise, a group silent listening walk down to the redevelopment site, individual silent listening walk explorations and then sharing our experiences through participatory soundmapping. The findings from the day fed into the overall project findings about Circus Street as a case study of redevelopment in Brighton.
