Walking towards the source

I live close to the River Tay and my frequent walks cross and recross it and its tributaries. With reference to historic maps before conifer plantations occluded the ground and kept people on foot away, I’ll attempt to trace one of its high tributaries towards a source, looking for inspiration and plotting with words.
