A video recording of a Showcase celebrating the first anniversary of the Walking Writers of Prespa. A collective of walking artists and writers who first gathered at a long table under the linden trees of Psarades during the 2025 Walking Arts Encounter. Ann de Forest, a longtime writer and relative newcomer to walking art, initiated the gathering, envisioning an informal forum where other writers could share practices and exchange tips on writing about walking. Rather than talk, the group decided to write, together, in real time. When the conference ended, we wanted to keep going. And so they have.
Showcasers included: Lise Brenner (NL), Viv Corringham (US/UK), Sandra Cowan (CAN) , Ann de Forest (US), Katie Down (US), Clara Gari (ESP, Tamsin Grainger (UK), Annemarie Lopez (UK), Kel Portman (UK), Amy Tsilemanis (AUS), Molly Wagner (US/AUS), Doerte Weig (ESP), Danae Zegers
