We are walking again…

In Britain, The Rule of 6 now rules our lives.
It won’t stop the walk.
Before Coronavirus, I walked monthly with a group called Glamoraks (a name we adopted). Our walks stayed within boundaries of Coventry and Warwickshire. A trip further afield to the Gower Peninsula in Wales was cancelled in March 2020.
In September 2020, we are walking again. The route will be through the city to Warwick University. The Urban Rural. You do not have to walk far to have a bad phone signal or feel that you have left the city boundaries when you haven’t.

desire path

A term mostly used by town planners or architects to describe the short-cut paths created by people. So a path around a square ‘green’ will often have a desire path cutting off the corners. Town planners recognise them as an admission that the initial path was put in the wrong place. Called ‘Elephant Paths’ in some countries.
