A Refracted View – Which Way?

A Refracted View : which way?

A Refracted View is a project delivered through Thread and Word artists in collaboration with members from East Kent Mencap. Conference attendees can share in our creative journey through our recorded podcast and online exhibition.

We are offering the opportunity for conference attendees to enter a competition to win a full Drift Deck of 32 cards with walking prompts.

You are invited to enter a competition held during The Fourth World psychogeography conference. We have made cards and prompts that are part of a limited edition print of 40 sets. These have been created with the Members from East Kent Mencap who are adults with learning difficulties. All competitors at 4WCOP will be invited to walk responding to three of our cards offered on Saturday, September 4th. You are invited to send us a photo by midday on Sunday. The East Kent members will then select the winner. The prompt offered at 4WCOP can be walked outside or indoors. There is a slight twist to the competition which will be revealed nearer the time, together with some guidelines. We hope to trigger thoughts about environmental and social sustainability, where we live, how we live and how we might live. We hope you will enter, who knows you might win, and our cards are delightful!
