Hope in Motion – Boston

Hope in Motion

What possibilities emerge from the simple act of coming together and walking?

Join artists Marion Tu and Nathania Hartley for a synchronised city walk in Boston (US) and London (UK).

Starting from Park Street in our respective cities we will share space: finding cross-continental commonalities whilst walking, listening and re-orienting ourselves to our surroundings and each other.

Boston meeting point: Sunday 23rd February, 10am, Park Street MBTA

Free, please book via Eventbrite to secure your space (link via ‘website’ button)

driftsinging

Drawing with (vocal) sound in response to place while passing through place. Driftsinging borrows from the Situationist Drift, and Baudelaire’s flâneur. Driftsinging also relates to the process of ‘sounding,’ the sonic measuring of distance and depth that locates position in place and ‘echo location’, the examination of place through sonic reflection and refraction, resonance and echo.
