Landing>In the Field #3 Lake Vyrnwy

Landing>3 Lake Vyrnwy

The third in this series of Landing>In the Field walks will be accompanied by RSPB Warden Alex Falkenham and will be an opportunity to walk through different ecosystems around Lake Vyrnwy including forestry, meadow and farmland. There will be an opportunity to learn about the peat rewetting that is happening on high ground near the lake and Andrew Howe and Molly Brown will provide some creative prompts to connect us to our surroundings.
These inclusive events are open to anyone with an interest in farming and the rural landscape. Each event will take place at a different site with walking and some creative activities devised and led by one or more participants. We will invite host farmers, guest artists/writers, environmental specialists or other practitioners to lead or contribute to the discussions and activities.
The walk of about 4 hours will be approximately 5 miles in distance across uneven, muddy terrain.
