This is a shared walk around Berlin Alexanderplatz,from 8 am – 8.30 am on september 1, 2019We will listen to the Sounds of the City while walking in silenceand focus on the experience of space emerging from sound and resonance.
We will make a soundrecording of the walk and share this afterwards

The audio walk *Sensing Body and City* (2020) presents a 12-minute inner stream of consciousness exploring a female* protagonist’s reflections and memories linked to specific locations in Berlin. Through a layered soundscape and voice-over, it weaves personal, non-visible memories encoded in both body and cityscape.
The Friedrichshain audiotour explores farmer's cottages, worker's palaces, and alternative living spaces in one of Berlin’s liveliest quarters. Over 2.5 hours, participants walk from Karl-Marx Allee to Boxhagener Platz, guided by characters including a young Berliner, a local resident, an architecture critic, and historical figures.
This is a nocturnal listening walk developed for a small group of attentive people through the ancient streets of Fiesole. The walk is conducted in pure silence and explores the architectural spaces/places of a small village up the hill of Florence during one of the latest night of summer 2020.
fat man’s folly
A narrow gap in a drystone wall or rock face ie one a fat man would be foolish to try to get through. A number exist in the Lake District bearing that specific name but it is also a general term in Cumbria for any narrow gap.
