On 29 July 2026 I leave Paris on foot for Nafplio. I arrive on 5 November, on the hundredth day.

The heartbeat replaces the kilometre as the unit of measurement. A day is no longer counted in ground covered but in the vital cost of covering it. A Polar H10 chest strap records every beat while a GPS records the trace.

Each evening both streams are sealed into a single artefact, the Cardio-Cartography (cardiac data, route, short text, image, voice). One hundred days produce one hundred pieces, one per stage, none of them repeatable.

Wherever I am given shelter, I leave a Proof of Presence: a dated card carrying the exact number of beats spent reaching that person and that place. One night, one proof. Gift, counter-gift.

Ten minutes

On 5 November 2026, at the University of the Peloponnese (Department of Performing and Digital Arts, directed by Marina Kotzamani), the hundred days are distilled into ten minutes of public speech. Two voices: mine in French, and DIA, a synthetic voice, in English.

The protocol allows three outcomes. If the apparatus holds, speech takes place. If it fails, silence takes its place and stands as the work. If I do not arrive, the ritual is held without me. The work absorbs the breakdown.

The route

France, then the Italian Adriatic coast (Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia), a sea crossing from Brindisi to Igoumenitsa, then Epirus, the Ambracian Gulf, the Rio-Antirrio bridge, the Peloponnese and Mycenae.
