An online gathering to celebrate The Feminist Art of Walking, includes contributions from special guests featured in the book of the same title by Morag Rose.
Special guests include some of the wonderful walking artists featured in the book. Alisa Oleva, Cathy Turner, Clare Qualmann, Dee Heddon, Elspeth “Billie” Penfold and Helen Stratford will be joining me in conversation. There will also be plenty of time for audience questions.
The Feminist Art of Walking celebrates women who have transformed their walking into powerful works of art and activism. It also shares twenty years of wanders with The LRM (Loiterers Resistance Movement) and argues for the importance of truly accessible public space.
