Walking Arts Forum walk listen create

Urban walkers

Annemarie Lopez, walking writer, curator, and digital storyteller, will present the work of walk · listen · create, an international platform exploring walking as a creative and cultural practice.

She will discuss how walking inspires artistic creation—poetry, performance, film, and sound art—and how the platform connects artists, researchers, and audiences through collaborative projects, workshops, and residencies. Annemarie will share concrete examples of creative walking projects, stories from lived experiences, and how walk · listen · create fosters innovation at the intersection of listening and movement.

As part of the European project WALC – Walking Arts & Local Communities, she will also touch on the platform’s role in coordinating international residencies, events, and artistic exchanges.
