Check It Out by Matthew McCaslin is a sculpture featuring four televisions strapped to a rolling cart and showing footage of urban commuters in various locations. In this case, the work encourages contemplation of the everyday ritual of walking commutes using the juxtaposition of multiple moving images. The contrast between the gallery setting and the hustling figures on screen heightens awareness of the movement in different contexts.
