Vienna is a wonderful subject for a deck of Dérive app task cards, and so, we now have a deck for Vienna.

Depending on your own interests, Vienna could be well-known to you for a number of reasons. It’s of course the typical home of delectable Central European cakes and pastries, it's home of the Walz, as well as the legendary queen Sisi, Empress Elisabeth, and, less well known, is that, after the Second World War, Vienna, like Berlin, was cut up in four regions of influence, and, as a consequence, was home to extensive Cold War intrigue, famously documented and remembered in the film classic, and visually stunning, The Third Man.

The division of Vienna was disbanded in 1955, but, before that, Vienna also saw an eventful interwar period, with the rise of Red Vienna, and a near civil war against the fascist forces that eventually oversaw the Anschluss.

Vienna is a wonderful subject for a deck of Dérive app task cards, and so, we now have a deck for Vienna. Enjoy.

The deck’s public, and available to everyone.
