A short writing about walking and making art during the period I started the course with WALC in 2026. As it stands, Indexical Traces is the first part of an anthology of writings about an installation with mixed media, called, Walk the Line. This work is about place and, in part, about the history of a divided rural community in the Swartland area, of South Africa.
