THE WALKS. A SERIES OF SOUND JOURNEYS THROUGH THE ANCARES LUCENSES

A group of theater, documentary film, poetry, and music artists produced six soundwalks in some of the most magical spaces of the Ancares Mountains of Lugo.
Six chapters, each written by a different author, blending documentary and fiction to delve deeper into the knowledge of this Biosphere Reserve, its culture, and the feelings of its inhabitants.

When I arrived in Torés, that village framed in a beautiful valley which, like good movies and books, gets better the more you look at it, I had the clear and immediate sensation that its tranquility concealed stories worth bringing to light. And there were tremors, which from time to time and for a long time now, disrupt Torés’ calm. They might return, in the form of a wind farm, definitively disrupting their way of life.
But above all, people appeared eager to speak, who opened their homes, mouths, and even pantries to generously offer me the gift of their memories and feelings.
