Born in Cheshire (where my only memory is of squelching through mud in red Wellington boots), I now live in a tiny Victorian artisan’s cottage in London, where I am a printmaker, ceramicist, photographer, community gardener and writer of haikus. My starting point is noticing a twist of shadow or a ripple of water; pressing the veins of a leaf into clay; or chasing a drift of memory. Many of my prints are photopolymer etchings, but I am increasingly experimenting with ink transfer, drypoint, painting and collage – including even some colour.

Created as a parallel piece to the Emotional Map of San Pedro, wich is a neighborhood in the city of Santiago de Compostela.
The San Pedro neighborhood is my adopted neighborhood in Santiago, and as I know it deeply and am emotionally connected to it, this project emerged naturally.
It is a collage that mixes the interviews collected for the creation of the emotional cartography with poetic fictions about the memory linked to the streets we inhabit.
I tried to capture the feelings and knowledge of different people connected to the place and constructed an sound narrative with their testimonies.
