Walking, playing and collecting photographs in the city of Jerusalem during October 2011.

Cards picked out at the outset of each day define where the walk starts from and the theme for the day. A die tossed at the starting point of each walk, and then at regular intervals throughout it, dictates directions to walk in and another die dictates how often a photo is taken.

The walks were documented online in dedicated blog as well a film 7 walks in 28 Minutes (2013). An unlimited edition of Postcards from a Holy City (2013) was also produced.

7 walks in 28 Minutes was screened as part of Footnotes Playing Dead, Standpoint Gallery, London (2015), Metageography : Space – Image – Action, Pushkin House, London (2017), Metageography: Orientalism or Dreams of Robinson, Zarya Centre for Contemporary Art, Vladivostok (2018) and Foreignness (2019) at KUMU (Estonian Art Museum).

Postcards from a Holy City has been exhibited as part of Footnotes Playing Dead, Standpoint Gallery, London (2015) as well as Metageography: Orientalism or Dreams of Robinson, Zarya Centre for Contemporary Art, Vladivostok (2018) and presented at SensingSite, Research Colloquium, Central St Martin’s School of Art and Design and Parasol Unit, London (2013) and Synergies in Digital and Tangible Landscapes, Landscape and Arts Network symposium, London (2013).
