While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex completed their long walk, I did a playful one. Quiet, solitary, local; no pomp and not much performance. It was a welcome reprieve after the epic experience of City Centre. Sometimes it’s best not to think too much… better to give yourself over to the roll of the die: follow a line and face the future; close your eyes and listen to the city; find a patch of green and ‘enjoy it while it lasts’…
It made me think… perhaps I don’t spend enough time stopping.
A walk for the future: always stop for as long as you walk.
