Chi gung at Granton Parish Church (crêche) Edinburgh

I am looking forward to introducing you to chi gung exercises for health and enjoyment at Granton Parish Church (in the crêche). All the details are below.

Chi gung are simple and enjoyable exercises for better physical and mental health.

We will practice breathing chi gung for improving our oxygen uptake and general lung capacity

Chi gung exercises are like short sequences and movements from T’ai Chi.

Easy to learn and gentle to do, they appear simple, but have far-reaching effects. Good for calming, feeling grounded and centred, they are also excellent for promoting better balance and increasing your co-ordination. You will feel more stable afterwards.

The classes incorporate a little simple meditation and the opportunity for discussion about the art of chi gung and its beneficial use in our lives.

It can all be done standing or sitting, so you do not need to be in good health to benefit.

I am an experienced teacher and aim for a friendly atmosphere.
