Sunday (24/7/2022) was a rest day from walking. The plan was for a large format photography session at Balcanoona Creek in the late afternoon after the sun had dipped below the cliffs.  

In the morning we cleaned up Nudlamutana Hut then drove to the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary  for petrol, mobile connection and an ice cream. On the way back we looked for the Ochre Wall on the road to the Paralana Hot Springs.

In the late afternoon I drove to the Echo Cliffs of Balcanoona Creek near the National Park HQ at the old Balcanoona Station for a 5×4 photo session. I was picking up from where I’d left off the previous year.

I’d somehow lost the film holder with the two 5×4 colour sheet film from that earlier session. I’d no idea how or when as I only discovered them missing when the sheet film had been processed. Upon my return I spent some time tracing my steps and walking around the area looking for the lost film holder but without any success.
