Walking Writers Salon
'Walking Writers' Salon'
You may be joining a Salon hosted by Andrew Stuck that last 60 minutes and includes a guest author talking about their approach to writing. Guest may be published authors and poets talking about their most recent books. Usually there's a fun multiple-choice quiz as part of the programme.
Or starting in Spring, 2024, you may be joining "Finding a Place": creative-critical talks hosted by walk-listen-create’s poet-in-residence Shani Cadwallender and writer-in-residence Amelia Hodsdon, we invite scholars and writers whose work explores landscape, walking, and ‘finding a place’ to discuss what their latest research reveals about human relationships to place.
Later in 2024, Cheryl Markosky will be introducing "Waymakers" a Salon featuring walking women writers.
Online meetings are hosted through Zoom, Teams, Jitsi or similar. Participants will be sent the conference link and password shortly before the event kicks off. To cover expenses and provide a small gift for the expert, participation typically costs less than 10 euros.
