Emily Jacir is a multidisciplinary artist who is primarily concerned with transformation, translation, resistance, and silenced historical narratives. Jacir spent her childhood in Saudi Arabia, attending high school in Italy. She attended the University of Dallas, Memphis College of Art and graduated with an art degree. She divides her time between New York and Ramallah.
