I am a visual artist based in Bristol, UK. My work revolves around the exploration of my lived experience of migration and 'split-identity', and the issues that 'intersect' with that experience, especially issues of class and mental health. I walk, in a way, to help me process those issues, as well as giving me time away from them. A lot of my walking involves trying to understand my experience of walking and the mental state I enter when I walk.

slow marathon

A marathon length walk in Huntly/Aberdeenshire and other places, where people can walk as slow as they like. Celebrating the human pace, it is both an endurance event as well as a poetic act that brings together friendship, physical activity and an appreciation of our varied landscapes.
