I am a singer, walker and listener, British but currently based in New York. I've been working for about 40 years, making soundwalks, concerts, radio works and sound installations, and hold an MA Sonic Art and a Deep Listening teaching certificate.

In my longterm project "Shadow-walks" I walk with people in their hometown to explore their sense of place and the walk's link with personal history and memory.
I worked and studied with composer and Deep Listener Pauline Oliveros for many years and hold a teaching Certificate in Deep Listening.

I lead workshops in listening and sounding, recently in Hong Kong, London, Bangalore, New York, Kolkata and Manila. I like to travel in order to work and walk and so far have made and presented work in twenty five countries.
